Good: This is a awesome all around boot. I use it for hiking, snowshoeing, and mountain work. Step in crampons fit great. The boot runs true to size, easy entry & exit. Waterproof, stays warm down to about 15 degrees with wool socks. Priced right! No problem breaking these in either. Great craftsmanship.

Bad: Laces are just a few inches too short. grab a set of 80 inch laces and you're good to go. I wouldn't use these boots where a insulated boot would be required.

Alternatives: None in this price range can do what this boot can.
