| From Altrec:
Line Skis: Chronic Skis (without binding) - Several years ago Line introduced the Chronic with a carbon-stringer stiff flex and all-terrain geometry for all-terrain freestyle. What we found over several years was that skiers wanted a specific version of the Chronic--the Chronic Wide or the Chronic Blend--to match the places that they like to ski most. That's why we're pumped to see this new version of the Chronic with a special Line Slantwall Construction to dampen vibrations and new dimensions for better control and handling in the park and pipes. The new Chronic is wider along the tip, waist and tail and features a Symmetric Flex and a freestyle-oriented twin tip profile. Line kept the Chronic tough with a Fatty Base and Edge construction that doubles the thickness of the edge and base to withstand miles of rail slides and high-impact missed hits. The extra reinforcement is built around a hard Maple Macroblock made from the highest quality wood core material available. Whether you're bound for the park, pipe or just wherever you think you'll find the best snow on the mountain, few freestyle designs get you there with the uncompromising control of the newly redesigned Chronic. - For advanced and expert skiers who want a freestyle-ready ski with responsive handling for all-mountain versatility
- Dimensions (tip/waist/tail): 111/85/108 mm.
- Lively Maple Macroblock core made from quality maple laminates for optimal impact resistance and reduced weight
- Symmetric Flex is excellent for a range of terrain conditions
- Vibration-dampening Slantwall construction
- Thick Fatty base and edge configuration takes abuse far better and longer than conventional powder ski designs
