Adjustable for a wide variety of sizes, these are a stable pole with antishock capabilities. I stand at 6'1" and my wife is 5'7" these poles have more than enough adjustability to cover us and more. By adding the snow baskets after the fact, they are a great snowshoe pole as well.

While the twist lock design is easy to use and secure, sometimes they require a bit of fidgeting to get them to stick if it's cold outside (Less than 15F)
