p3 platform and mid top height protect the ankles. top of the toe box is padded as well. impressed with the way it climbs. edges well, smears well. feet are soooo happy to climb in them.
the tongue is interesting when you are sliding the foot into the shoe. one needs to actually unlace the shoe down a few eyelets.
I can't Think of an alternative. this shoe is cush..great job guys. can't wait to try it in the desert.
Very comfortable for all day use! I'm a La Sportiva fanatic & I looove all their shoes. (In the picture I have their Vipers on, b/c I couldn't find a good one of the TC Pro's on me.)
Tongue is fairly thick comparatively, but not that bad.
Let you climb small edges even when sized comfortably. Simply a great shoe! I also like the stiffness of P3 platform. It really saves my toe power when standing on edges for long time.
Not much sensitivities. I got used to it recently but round slippery holds that requires delicate control is something I am not comfortable to use when wearing this shoes. It must be largely due to my skill but Miura is much better in the same situation.
Miura for more sensitivity. Acopas for all day comfort.
