The laces don't extend as far toward the toe as on some. This offers advantages and disadvantages. An advantage is there are no folds, seams, or double thicknesses to create pressure points on the distal phalanges (which I'm personally sensitive to). If other rock shoes are "excessively" painful in the toes, then these may be worth a try for you.

| A disadvantage of the shorter lacing is that you don't have as much ability to fine tune the fit around the toes. Mine are too new to know yet if this will cause problems once they have fully stretched. The leather is unlined in the toe portion so perhaps more prone to stretching than fully lined shoes. Time will tell. |

| mythos but they will stretch more than the 1/2 synth 1/2 leather nagos |

These are comfortable to wear for several hours at at time, and within a few sessions form very nicely to your foot. They also air-dry very well; I have used mine for several months, and haven't noticed any problems with bad smells. I highly recommend these. |

| Turn your feet red! Those with red feet are said to have been nagoed! |

Cred: 345 | | Easy, good rubber, laces up tightly. Took a year to wear down to where the rubber was slipping, very happy with durability! |
| Laces are fast to lace. Turned my feet red for about 3 months. |

Cred: 5 | | Great for indoor climbing. I bought these as my first shoe and they have served me incredibly well. Excellent grip and very comfortable even after hours of wear. After recently taking them outside I couldn't be happier with these shoes. Outside they perform just as well as inside. Favorite thing: responsive interface between rock and foot, tons of control. |
| They WILL dye your feet red. it washes right off but can be a little annoying. |
