Pros: The only shoe at REI that fit me well. This shoe has the comfortable all day feel, yet cranking intense problems, enduro crack pitches, or thin technical face all crumble before the versatility and performance of this shoe.

My favorite all day shoe I've ever owned.

The lacing system is unique and helps secure the heel well.
Cons: color, but who really cares about that.

This is the shoe my dad bought when he started climbing. The Mythos is tried and true. It will hold up where ever you take it, probably longer than you will. Comfortable as a sneaker too, the Mythos is perfect for anything from Euro sport, Tetons, to those nasty trad cracks.
The laces are longer than normal which can make replacements a pain.

Really comfy, wear them all day. Great lacing system. Smear fabulously.
They start to smell like my feet after a while. I'm sure there are better shoes for very small edges but I bet they aren't as comfy.

Wonderful shoe. The lacing system really locks in your foot without digging in. I've been through a lot of shoes, by a lot of brands, and with the exception of the tradmaster(discontinued) I've never been so happy with a trad shoe. It is great for all day wear and performs great in cracks and edges.
Not for sport or bouldering

first pair of shoes, so of course, they are a little big from stretch. Turned into a good pair of multipitch/trad/I want comfy feet shoes.

during a climb at looking glass nc, the sun was so hot the rubber on my shoe began to rub away on the rock. causing my feet to swell from heat

good fit and sticky rubber
(Bad Features)seams and stitching doesn't seem to hold up as well as other brands
5-10 seem much better

Comfortable, molds to foot well, feels nimble and doesn't stink like synthetics.
I'm 190-lbs and like a stiffer shoe on small edges
(Recommended Alternatives)evolv bandits, Acopa aurora

Great lacing system! You can wear them all day and crank them down to do a technical, edgy route. Smears good- rubber will wear quickly as a trade off.
Get them at least a half size small! Real leather streatches a LOT.

Great all around show. Can stay in these all day once they are broken in. Get a size or size and half smaller. The shoes stretch.
Shoe stretch to much can cause air pockets in the heel.
