| La Sportiva Katana Lace 4.8 out of 5 based on 4 user reviews.
Cred: 1364 | | Great all around shoe that leans towards boulder and hard sport. With a medium downturned last, it resembles its predecessor, the Katana. I use these mainly for overhanging sport and for easy bouldering, although I could use them for trad or crack, as they have plenty of rubber on the rand. The lining makes these guys comfortable for sure, even when I downsize 2.5 euro sizes. The strechy neoprene and heel tabs make it easy to put on and the laces make a very snug fit. They'll stretch a little less than half a size with a leather upper, so downsize accordingly. |
| They're really easy to confuse for other similar looking shoes (aka any Sportiva shoe) around the crag. Rubber doesn't hold up very well on granite, but what rubber does? |

Cred: 5 | | Review by Poulpy on Apr. 13, 2011 | | I have been looking for large technical shoes for a while now (my shoe size 47-48). Its the first shoes I found which are kind of technical for big feet. The sole lining keeps its shape while the upper part of the shoes extend slightly to fit your toes. Its a good all around shoe if taken at you size and good technical shoes if 1 or 2 size smaller (my case). good edging, good smearing good lace system. |
| The sole is soft and wear fast (maybe because of my weight). |
