| La Sportiva Batura 4.5 out of 5 based on 2 user reviews.
Cred: 195 | | warmer than the nepal evo's by far. climbs ice well think vail's fang. footwork was not hindered. great wiggle room for your toes. Hikes incredible right out of the box. great flex. |
| the flex in the cuff cuts into just above the ankle when cinched. the lacing is not the same as the nepal evo and when hands are cold makes for a challenge to get boots tight. definitely need to add a good footbed. |
| Can't Think of an alternative in this weight range. the batura has more insulation than the duratherm layer that is laminated to the goretex membrane that is in the Nepal evo. |

For it's warmth, there's nothing that can climb like it, not even close. It edges like a champ, and the sole stays rigid no matter how much torquing you give it. For those who appreciate ankle flex, this boot rocks it on mixed lines and french technique approaches. Climbing-wise, best warm boot I've ever had. |
