The version I have is the Ken Onion Leek 1660ST. It features spring assisted opening and a half-serrated edge. It keeps its edge very well. On the 1660ST, there's a blade lock so you it can't accidentally open in your pocket and (re)circumcise yourself. It's a damn good knife overall.
the 1600ST is a little heavy for the weight conscious camper. For everyday use, it's perfect.
Alternatives for the product shown (the regular leek model): the 1600ST (spring loaded with serrated edge) or the 1660 (spring loaded with no serrated portion of blade)
i actually found one of these on the side of the road. i quickly found it to be highly useful. it holds an excellent edge and takes up virtually no pocket space.
the metal that makes up the blade is fairly brittle. i would have likely never have purchased this item due to the price.
