This knife is a speed safe knife. That means that it has a spring assist to it. I have had this knife for a while and has given me no problems. Good knife for all jobs. I carry mine everyday as a pocket knife.

Great knife, big enough to do pretty much anything you need, fits well in your palm, holds an edge very well

Only buy if you want a big knife for serious cutting

I have used this knife for the last 12 years. It has never let me down and has been carried daily. After all this time, it has only minimal wear.
