| Obv. this is the most weight and cost effective solution presuming you have decent water to start off with. I personally prefer the slight taste affiliated with tablets over water filters in ultralight backpacking situations. |
| Slight taste and 30 minute delay (you have to wait 30 minutes for the water to be safe). |
