Same design as 2008 with a facelift, the K2 HellBent incorporated K2s rocker design into a fully functional twin tip. The Hell Bent is the fattest ski in the K2 twin tip line, with an impressive 150 mm tip, 122 mm underfoot and an elongated tail for switch landings. The non-rockered underfoot section of the K2 HellBent skis allow enough versatility to get you out of the backcountry and on-piste without a huge loss of performance. A massive addition to the Factory Team line takes the attributes of rocker design and applies it to a true backcountry twin tip. The Factory Team tested this rockered ski over the past two seasons and fine-tuned it into a tool that makes it as easy to land switch as landing forward. The hellish bend in the tip and tail combined with a 122mm waist width provides maximum float. The minimal sidecut keeps the ski from deflecting in the chopped-up or variable snow, but still allows versatility when making laps back to the lift, heli or sled.

Torsion Box Construction
Torsion Box construction is K2`s most widely used, yet simplest lay-up. This construction is a Triaxially braided wood core ski. Braided torsion Box skis tend to have lively and energetic characteristics that provided a high degree of rebound and performance. A Triaxially Braided wood core ski is still the bench mark and they continue to use it so widely because of it`s versatility and the ability to create so many different kinds of skis depending on the amount of flex and torsion designed into the construction.
Triaxial Braided
Developed by K2 in 1988, Triaxial Braiding is still the best known process of applying fiberglass to a wood core. This process consists of sending a milled wood core through the patented Triaxial Braiding machine, where the core is wrapped by interlocking strands of fiberglass. This unique method produces skis that have a great deal of torsional rigidity and strength, while maintaining all the lively characterisitics of a wood core ski.
Tip and Tail Rivets
Added weight in precise locations on the tip and tail of the ski allows for more control and better turning capability.
Powder Rocker Design
This particular ski design allows for massive control in powder. They`re typically wider and have a smaller cut, which is the key for its powder prowess.
