This is a great everyday jacket. It's super light like the Patagonia down sweater with more style for everyday around town. I like to wear it on cold days for high endurance activities like cross country skiing or running because it's so light and I don't overheat. If it's really cold out you would either want to wear a lot of layers underneath or a shell over it.

I took it on a trip to NYC as my only jacket and was cold walking around town. It was about 30 degrees out.
