Cred: 17 | | This jacket has a new 4 layer fabric that keeps you super dry and super warm on the coldest of days. I use this jacket with the Immersion Research Dry Pants and together the suit keeps you pretty dry in a full immersion situation. I know because I tested it in the cold February waters of the the Antietam Creek. I noticed minimal moisture around my waist wich is to be expected with a two piece suit. If you layer with a wet suit or NRS hydroskin as I do, the moisture you have will be warm moisture. |
| This jacket is heavy. The material is thick and may not want to be ideal on a hot spring day when the water is still too cold to go shirtless. However, I haven't tested it. I just got this jacket for Christmas this year. |
| Immersion Research Comp jacket. It is thinner, but keeps you just as dry. My buddy has the special plaid edition of the Comp Jacket. |
