| Hennessy Hammock Expedition Asym 5 out of 5 based on 6 user reviews.
Cred: 1250 | | I recently acquired one of these tents as an 18th birthday present and I have yet to sleep in my bed since. as far as comfort, efficiency, and simplicity go, this thing cannot be beat! |
| I would recommend putting together a kit of ropes and webbing to make setting it up easier. (I just use my pair of ascenders) |

| had trouble with the lashing recommended from the website. I picked up these figure 4 things that make a lashing for me in seconds. |
| Nothing beats this. favorite piece of gear i own. and that is saying alot! |

Cred: 9 | | Review by pap6ma on Sep. 16, 2011 | | I love sleeping in this hammock, I do a lot of camping on uneven ground and this works out perfect. A good pad is required for cold. |
| The ridge line should be stronger, I pulled on it to pull myself up higher and I broke the line. |

Cred: 5 | | Nice solo hide away for group leaders. Great for hilly, muddy & wet areas. Won't camp with out it in Florida anymore, the ventilation is un-matched. |
| Use a sleeping pad for insulation from the wind if it is cold. During the summer a pad is also needed if the mosquitoes are bad. Oh and learn some rope skills, if you don't have them. Personally I think it is easy, but the figure 8's fastener at bass pro can help the rope challenged. |
| Another product that not quite as good for expedition camping is a "Travel Hammock." But they do have a down blanket for the exterior of the hammock. |

Cred: 5 | | Lightweight, durable, EXTREMELY comfortable. Setup takes about as long as setting up a tent. Ideal for ultralight backpackers and leisure use. I have the zipper version, so you basically unzip the hammock to get in. The hammock comes with a bug net and rain fly, so it is convenient to buy it as a set rather than separately. |
| Not all people may enjoy hammock tent sleeping, but I found it extremely comfortable. |
