Cred: 951 | | Awesome. Lightweight, and loaded with features. The cup is great, the 1.1qt pot is light and sits well on small stoves like the MSR Pocket Rocket. Nice, secure handle that keeps the lid on for travel and holds steady with weight in it. Lid serves as a strainer, as well as a sippy-cup when used with the included cup. The outer black sleeve it comes with is seam taped and can hold water, another great feature. Finally it allows you to stack a 9oz butane cartridge, small stove, spork, and the cup all contained in the pot. Talk about having no dead space with this pot in your pack!!! |
| The spork was not worth anything, broke within a few uses. |
| Snow Peak makes some lighter titanium stuff that is nicer, but for the money and the features I Think Id still buy the GSI. |

Cred: 1916 | | Buying this pice of gear opened up an entire square foot of space in my pack, and cut my weight by the pound. So much better than the military surplus mess kit I had bee using. the best part, iso-pro fuel nests right inside! Water-tight stuff sack as a sink is a great idea! |
| Nothing is perfect, but the spork is the biggest POS in my gear closet. Don't leave the lid on while cooking, the lid and cup afre not fire nor extreemly heat resistant. I have a MSR Pocket Rocket, and I can't get it to fit inside along with a 8oz fuel cell, a 4oz might work, havent tried yet. |
