| The Quantum is the lightest tool on the market, featuring the same curve as the Matrix, and the X Monster pick. The narrower grip may be favorable for smaller hand climbers. |
| The shaft of the Quantum is B rated. Meaning it has the same rating as the standard Black Diamond pick. The small handle may not be comfortable for larger handed climbers, and the lightness of the tool takes much getting used to. Also for the price of this any other ice tool looks cheap. Even Grivel's own reps recommend that the serious climber go with their Matrix or TaaKoon. |
