great all around crampons. More aggressive and longer front points than other equivalent crampons. Excellent on vertical ice Does it all. Have the new-matics, and i've never had a problem.
more aggressive secondary points would be nice to make this crampon even more versatile.
Sabertooths from BD, but i would rate these better than the sabertooths for shorter flatter frontpoints and comparable weight.

Great all around crampon, works well on vertical ice and slogging on a glacier. Get the antibot plates! I have the bails not straps.
Secondary points could be more aggressive for vertical ice without sacrificing mountaineering advantages

Great mountaineering crampon. Attached easily to my Scarpa Invernos with the semi-automatic configuration. Didn't need th extender bar, despite a size 11.5 boot. Despite the picture these do come with anti-botts.
I Think for general mountaineering any flexible crampon will get you to the top of the mountain in style. Just make sure to have anti-botts to keep the snow from sticking.
