| Gregory Palisade Pack 4.1 out of 5 based on 15 user reviews.
 Cred: 668 | | -Very adjustable straps.
-Very comfortable. Most comfortable pack I've used.
-Large openings. The pack opens from the top, bottom, and the side, leaving lots of access points.
-Flexible compartments. Inner linings and separators provides different ways to compartmentalize content.
-And did I mention it's really comfortable? |

Cred: 18 | | Review by Niles on Dec. 05, 2011 | | Overall, I am not a fan of this pack. The bottom was durable and I liked that but this pack had its faults. I liked that you could access the pack from the external compartment and the lumbar support was pretty great. |
| 1. This sleepingbag pocket at the bottom is small for my liking.
2. This pack puts the load very high on your back.
3. The back pocket is kind of useless when you load the internal compartment completely full.
4. I ended up breaking the hip-belt while loading it into the back of a truck while heading on a trip and had to get a new pack. Needless to say I didnt but a gregory again. |

Cred: 150 | | Super comfortable even with high load. Side bottle holster is very convenient. Built in daisy chain is awesome for strapping things. Compression straps keep gear located at the desired center of gravity. |
| Yeah right psh its a palisade |
|
Cred: 316 | | Tons of loading options with the top mid and bottom openings, love the fact you can separate the bottom compartment from the rest of the pack. Ca |
| Odd shaped bottom compartment, however Gregory does make a stuff sack in the same shape as the compartment to make loading easier! Heavy pack |
| If I had to do it again I would shop definitely Look towards a lighter pack but then again when I bought this pack I was not as determined to lighten my load. |
|
Cred: 9 | | Bomber construction, nice adjustability in the harness and hip belt, front panel access and ample room for my crap. |
| The hip belt tends to rub my right hip the wrong way - maybe it's the way I am built, but I've heard the same thing from others regarding this generations belt. The removable lid is a joke - just skip it going forward please! |

Cred: 350 | | The best backpack I've ever had. Lots of room, access, straps for anything and everything you could want to stuff or strap on. Extremely durable |
|
Cred: 5 | | Carries weight extremely well. Absolutely bombproof (mine survived a black bear attack). Super tough waterproof bottom panel means you can set it down anywhere and not worry (lnt of course). Top lid turns into small day hip pack. |
| heavy, but if your carrying everyone else's stuff already, the great suspension is worth it. |
|
Cred: 5 | | Great material and well made feel to the pack. Plenty of room inside for all your goodies. Transfer of weight is kept well balanced nicely. This is the Mercedes Benz of backpacks. |
| None to think of whatsoever |
