Good stout blade. It doesn't corrode, or if it does it takes eons. The handle is good for bare hands and the thumb grip on the back edge of the blade is nice for control. It's easy to deploy since you don't have to press any buttons or anything. This is the type of thing you always keep on your PFD but hope you never have to use.
The retention can be a bit iffy in the sheath. All you have to do is pull it so I've actually lost my first one. I added a lanyard and it's no problem. The handle could be a bit chunkier for use with gloved hands.
NRS Pilot knife series. Same style of thing but with better retention and a built in bottle opener (leave it to NRS).
