If you want to make them free pivot for touring you can buy the Targa ascent or buy a silveretta telemark adapter that goes under the binding and gives you free pivot with 3 heel lifts.
Nothing bad here-only things that are improved in better models. My heel bail broke -- the plastic eventually just crumbled. Fortunately it is replaceable.
