Cred: 426 | | Tops for crack climbing. They stick like a motha. Also very warm and comfortable. Lace system is great for fine tuning fit. Toe box a little big, overall great shoe for wearing all day. |
| Plant these things deep and you will have trouble getting your foot out. They stick like crazy in all kinds of weather. Okay on slab/face. |

Cred: 881 | | These shoes are AMAZING for cracks bigger than .5 size. They literally lock in like a piton. Extremely sticky in cracks! |
| not good for face climbing! for small cracks i'd recommend a more "technical" shoe.
They stick so well you can actually get them stuck in the crack if you aren't paying attention |

Cred: 225 | | Review by jlw670 on Nov. 20, 2008 | | I love these shoes. They're advertised as crack shoes, but they work just fine for me on the face, big wall, and even in the gym. Really comfortable. Padded tongue is great. So Spadout tells me now that my Stealth Onyx rubber is not as sticky as other shoes, but I still love my Pitons. They perform great! |
| Lots of room in the toe. Not the most attractive colors... :) Lime green and duck crap green don't look that great together. But it's a unique look! |

Cred: 173 | | great for cracks, comfy all day |
| wide(don't edge particularly well), toe-box gets hot in the sun on hot days and has burned my toe knuckles. |
| Acopa Merlins (for face and thin cracks) |
