The typical "all around" shoe. Make sure you get the Onix rubber. The older ones have C4 which is slightly less durable.
Comfy to walk in
if you're someone to wear socks while climbing they'll dye your socks red

Very comfortable, easy to wear around all day, and probably great for trad and big wall type stuff. Stealth rubber is very sticky and smears like crazy.
I didn't find them to edge particularly well; the rubber could probably stand to be a touch harder to prevent wear; I prefer the speed lacing system to get a really good fit on my foot.

I am new to climbing and this is my first shoe. So far it has been great. It has been durable through about 6 months of heavy climbing. Overall a great shoe for the price.
I give it a 4 because it could probably use a little more 'stickiness' in its sole.

My wife loves them and she can climb all day without tears. All around shoe at a great price
Does not excel in any specific area

Comfortable all around shoe. Excellent for beginners.
Leather upper will leave your feet red. Grip could be better.
Solid shoe without any outstanding features.
Upgraded to RED Chili Spirit VCR for more aggressive toe and heel, but Spirit VCR is considerably less comfortable.

An all around great beginning shoe. I bought this as my first climbing shoe, and it has been great. Great rubber. Great smearing. Comfortable. Durable (2 years of climbing on them pretty regularly and they look new.)
Not so good with pockets or any small little ledges. Leather has stretched so much in 2 years that I almost cannot lace them up any tighter.

Good beginner shoe. Comfy all day. Great rubber.
Stretches several sizes over time. Soft sole.

Nice shoes for the price range. Good and comfortable fit.
Wish the rubber was stickier.

Fits my foot well
Soles didn't hold well under the wear and tear I put them under.
