Cred: 23 | | Honestly dont know much about shoes other than this pair which is my first. However having said this, I love my shoes! I tried on many a pair and I recommend lace ups over velcro for a first pair; it allows you to since what needs to be tighter and loosen what needs to be loosened. Great sole, ive done many a heel hook to many a toe in, and the rubber grabs awesomely. |
| None really per-say, they are made of leather and are stiff when putting them on initially. Once the shoes heat up and your feet begin to sweat slight they fit like a dream. Also with this in mind I was told that once you begin working in and wearing these shoes (being that they are leather)they will stretch slightly. I was told upon purchasing these shoes they would stretch about a full size, mine stretched about a half a size and fit wonderfully. This is not a gripe, but a heads up for those that are buying shoes. |
| Don't know enough to offer advise on another shoe. I know there are more aggressive shoes for those that have been climbing a while and know what they work best in. |
