These are very good beginner's lady shoe. They have a comfortable toe box, and lots of room and flexibility throughout for someone just getting used to a climbing shoe.
It is possible to quickly out-perform this shoe. Within a few months of beginning to climb, I found I wanted a shoe that was smaller and stiffer throughout, and also one that I could lace up for added support.
The La Sportiva Nago's are a good step up from this shoe - they are more aggressive and may hurt more at first, but if you are planning on climbing frequently, and pursuing the sport long-term, the slight discomfort up from may be worth it. If you plan on taking your time, this is a wonderful shoe.

cheap, good intro to climbing, slap and stick = super quick to get on and off, have held up pretty well- had them for over a year and climbed over 100 routes with no tears (about 20 indoor and 80 outdoor)
not very comptetitive, super painful, can't smear, like at all

Bought these for my twin daughters. The shoe appeared to be a solid climbing shoe and the velcro was an easy slip on slip off, which is exactly what I was looking for.
Had to return the shoes. It seems the shoes run small(I know that is a good thing for most climbers) but beware if you want to feel your toes for days to come. I ordered a size up from what my girls normally wear and they were too small and had to return them.
Still looking.

I'm a relatively new climber, and started off with some other shoes that really gave me blisters and caused lots of cramps in my arches. I traded the old ones in for these, and I love them! The fit is perfect for women's feet and the arch support is really good. I like the shape of the toe, and they're purple!

Good overall shoe especially for beginners. Has a nice narrow toe for jamming into small cracks.
The heel cup is narrow and shallow, which makes it feel like the shoe will pop off during a heel-hook.
