Cred: 922 | | CHEAP! I got this on sale for $120. For a dry 70m that is pretty awesome. I've climbed about 75 pitches with it over the last 2 years and it's always done what it's supposed to. Mostly trad with only a few sport fall fest sessions. Has worn well and the sheath isn't too fuzzy. I've beatin it on everything from yosemite granite to chosspile sandstone and the core still feels fairly good. |
| The handling is only OK. It was very stiff when I got it and the handling has never impressed me. I've always been able to get it in my ATC or anything, but just doesn't have that great "feel" that some ropes do. There are core spots that have started to slightly flatten and I feel it could have lasted another 6 months. It's heavy, but then again it has taken a lot of abuse that a skinny light cord wouldn't have endured. |
| I'm into the Mammut ropes right now, so check them out. I'd recommend this rope to anyone that needs a cheap and good all around cord. |

Cred: 426 | | I got the 60m dry rope and like it so far. It's a bit heavy but what do you want for a 10.3 rope?.. This rope stays clean and flakes easy once broken in.. Cool orange color! Great buy for the money. |
| It's a rope that is saving my life... there isn't much bad about that. |
| I bought a standard Mammut Promo Rope for a spare. Much lighter and works well too... |

Cred: 1451 | | Review by Keese on Nov. 25, 2007 | | I'd give this rope five stars as a first rope. And then less the more you want to use it. Its price is key here when you consider a first rope this is the one you'll want to learn about rope drag, crampons, etc, on. Its cheap and its a beast since you can usually find one for around 100$. It will last through the learning curve and then you can start to contemplate something that doesnt weigh as much, isnt nicked up, and is a lot prettier. Beginners this is what you want though. |

Cred: 2509 | | strong, durable, inexpensive rope. Got it on sale for 115. It's fairly light for a workhorse. |
| It doesn't have a great hand. Ties knots well and all, but part of that is that it's dry treated. |
| Mammut makes some comprably durable ropes that have a better feel. Also, i have a Petzl Zephyr that has lasted for over a hundred pitches and quite a bit of toprop abuse with students. That is a burly rope. |

| Handles reasonably but there are easier ropes. |

Cred: 279 | | Seems like a good rope. Only used it a few times so far. |
| This was very stiff at first but is loosening up nicely. |
|
Cred: 28 | | Prevents injury or death in the event of a fall. |
| My 10.3 is a bit bulky, but that is to be expected. I'll probably go with a 9.8 or 10.0 next time around. |

Nothing fancy |
|
 Cred: 50 | | Tough for a 10.3, pretty easy to handle. |
| No factory midpoint mark. Really stiiff when new. |
|
Cred: 92 | | Looks cool and keeps you off the earth... |
| It's just avg. but you get what you pay for... |

Cred: 31 | | very inexprencive, that is the best part. nice durablitly |
|
Cred: 3 | | Gets twisted easily - handling is tough. A center mark would be spectacular! |
