| This is my favorite horizontal dropout chain tensioner by far. I have tried both the spring-loaded Singleator type and the Rollenlager solid type. The DMR only requires a 5mm allen wrench to adjust the tension and allows you to adjust the tension after the quick release is fully tightened. It holds tension really well, is fairly light and around $25. Great Product. |
| There a few weak points. The 2 piece mount isn't really compatible with nutted rear axles, only QR type axles. Not a big deal for most users. The chain slot in the roller is very narrow and probably won't fit 1/8" BMX chain. The chain line adjustment will likely require you to add a longer pulley bolt and some washers. |
