| I have never broken a globe when my lantern is in the case. |
| The closure of the top to the base is not fun to work with in the cold. The plastic hasn't ever broken, but trying to lock or unlock (getting the plastic tab over the bumps) is difficult when you are working in temperatures under 40F. |
| None - although I have seen some padded cases that might be nice. |
