A few gear gurus might compare Burton's women's Lux snowboard to the men's twin-tip Elite, but the Lux has a negative core profile that's ideal for new and experienced women riders who want a little more independent foot control on varied terrain. The Lux also has a forgiving two-layer Biax fiberglass construction designed to take you down the mountain with predictable perfection and uncompromising edge hold. On the inside you'll find Burton's proven Super Fly wood core, a vertical sandwich of mixed hard and soft woods for response and moderate pop without a lot of excess weight--a key factor for women riders.
