Burton: Dominant Snowboard - Tweaked ever so slightly with a new wider stance width (in 159-cm. length, mind you), the Burton Dominant snowboard remains geared for the most aggressive riders in the park and neighborhood. It features Burton's Park Fly Core with durable and dense woods along high impact zones and a lighter core feel in the places that can optimize your swing weight. To keep things lively for future snow days, the Dominant features Burton's proven Infinite Ride technology construction, creating a dependable design that easily stands up to 100-day seasons without diminishing the pop. 10:45 sidewalls use two distinct angles to minimize abuse. The best and proven features remain the same: A negative core profile and Dualzone EGD (Edge Grain Direction). If you had x-ray vision (something we all wish for, right?) you could see that the wood grain along the toe and heel edges runs perpendicular to the rest of the wood core in a design called DualZone Edge Grain Direction, a process that enhances edging while adding durability. The negative core profile utilizes thinner sections of wood core between the bindings for more flex and torsion, allowing your feet to move independently on the board through challenging snow conditions. If you spend most of your day in the park or on rails, the rugged Dominant dominates in a way that makes it unique from other Burton offerings. - Burton "feel" rating: 4 on a scale of 1 to 7
