Cred: 2509 | | Fantastically solid tool. I had these for a season, then my gear bag got stolen in the airport, and the reimbursement got me a pair of cobras. I miss these tools though. Solid, intuitive and solid sticks. Perfect weight. Great leashless, but the android leash is nice. Will do anything alpine and takes on the ice and mixed routes. Solid tool. Modular pick makes the viper even more versatile, and there are 3 options which are all good. with a little care, these tools will last a long time. |
| never found one over the season i had them. |
| Cobra has a slightly sharper bend, and a little more weight in the Head for easier softer sticks. Laser pick is good for ice. Use the titan for a little more versatility. |

Cred: 402 | | Review by jur001 on Feb. 01, 2008 | | This is about the best semi-professional axe available: solid placements, great swing, light, about everything you need for ice, medium difficulty mixed or even the toughest alpine routes. |
| Too bad it comes with a laser pick, I prefer titan. |

Cred: 584 | | Well, I haven't used many axes in my relatively new ice climbing career, but I got a great deal on these and love em! |
