These skis are light when I first picked them up I was thinking to myself this is something that would be good to lug into the backcountry. These skis have been able to do it all; they seem to just ski anything from trees to steeps and keep you up in the powder. I was at first worried about BD's Densolite core but after skiing on them for a season I am happy to say that it does hold up and makes the skis feel solid under your feet as well it does allow for the lightness of the skis. I would recommend this to ski to most skiers out there who are looking for an all around ski that isn’t such a pain when strapped to the pack. The tails work so well with skins it's just great.
The skis light weight at first is something to get used to.
