These simple, sturdy, relatively light trekking poles are great if you're on a budget. The Black Diamond Flicklock system is amazing compared to the classic twistlock design you'll see on many other brands. These come with summer no-snag size baskets as well as small powder baskets. The poles are sturdy and don't creep shorter as the day goes on.

These poles are simple, and at 20 oz for the pair (confirmed on a food scale), lighter than most on the market. If I were to buy another pair of poles and wanted to spend a bit more money, The lightweight (14oz) Exped Alpine or Exped Explorer poles would be at the top of my list.
