It's cheap and well built for the cost. Beat the hell outta it and it keeps going. It's been up one wall with me and countless other bails. I've slept in it to stay warm and used it as a makeshift belay seat. The shoulder straps and belt are good construction and it carries well (for a pig). The inner pocket is built well and has a good zipper. The top closure has double cinchers on the cord. The bottom has a drain hole and X shape straps for docking sub bags or other crap.
Overall it's been a good bag and you'll see countless others dragging them up the walls of Yosemite and beyond. Just be ready for ridicule if you show up with a shiny new one.
Not nearly as tough as a metolius or Fish (so I hear). No docking daisy. The haul straps could be offset to allow the double biner attachment for easy opening. The outer haul straps could be better protected from abrasion. The collar is not watertight.
Metolius Half Dome, Fish Budget Bag, Fish Grade V. Older A5 haulbag if you can find one.
material could be a little heavier, just wish that it was more comfortable but i don't know of a haul bag that is light as a feather and easy to maneuver around.
