Good Features
There's a built-in tarp. The strap is comfortable. It's really a simple design and really easy to use. The zipper will NEVER fail. There are loops on the inside of the bag so you can tie the loose ends of the rope for even further organization.
Bad Features
It holds only a rope and will not double as a backpack so don't expect one. At most, you might be able to hang some of your gear from it...or a nice salami.
Recommended Alternatives
I might recommend getting a backpack that doubles as a ropebag. BD sells something like that. I would prefer that over carrying a backpack plus a ropebag around the crag.

Good Features
Mark is crazy, the zipper is fine. The large tarp that this thing folds out into is awesome. In Oklahoma, we've got allot of burs and crap that the rope can pick up. Because you flake the rope onto the bag (tarp) instead of the ground it helps keep your fingers from being impaled while belaying by some errant thorn.
Bad Features
Its really big, perhaps too big. Its nice when spread out, but will hold 2-3 ropes pretty easy, which is more then my standard load.

Large tarp for flaking rope.
Bad Features
Rope bags should not have zippers. This rope bag takes 'skill' to close. Quite frankly I like to use my 'skills' to do other things.
