great size, moderate weight, works well with all knots and hitches, including munter hitch. It is the indespensible biner. I keep one for belaying, and one extra for rigging.
can be a bit heavy.
vaporlock is the same thing with much weight shaved off.

Nice, big basket size for fatty ropes while belaying or using the Munter, clove hitch, etc. Rounded for less friction which is nice during self rescue or while belaying a featherweight.
A little on the heavy side.
Metolius Element, Petzl Attache. B.D. Vaporlock if you're wanting more friction while belaying.

at the rock gym i go to it is required to have two of these locked into your harness and then the rope through both of these-

the size of this carabiner makes it really easy to get the rope in and out-
slightly too large-
belaying-

Great for Belaying.
A little too large, therefore a heavier. Does not have red/dead marking

Great locker... smooth gate action but still nice and firm close force. Large to medium capacity and mouth opening are a real plus for housing multiple items. Makes a nice centerpiece to any anchor.
Mine has a scratch.

Good size, fairly light, inexpensive
The gate and lock on mine have gotten a little stiff, but are still totally useable

Great belay biner. This was the first biner I ever bought, and I still use it alot.
Its pretty big, I don't think I would use it for anything but belaying.

The cheapest belay biner I could find when I was looking for a new one. Nice that it's keylock too.

Good shape and size.
Average weight of a biner its size, not on the light side.
