Cred: 2509 | | i haven't used auto lockers until the past few months. I like this one. Smooth action, and solid (i really like the rocklock screwgate) |
| I have not had problems with the gate catching.
It's heavy, but with an autolock, you should expect that. |

Cred: 951 | | One of the best auto-lockers Ive ever used, and Ive used a lot of them. Nice, smooth action with a good spring and snap back. Great for belaying and rappelling. |
| A little heavy and a touch expensive for a Black Diamond product. |
|
Cred: 14 | | Nice big biner, rounded. good for belays. |
| Have a few of these and have noticed the same problem on a couple that some others have mentioned - the gate sometimes sticks at not quite closed. Kind of defeats the purpose of the autolock IMO. May return it considering how pricey it was. |

Cred: 9 | | This is an absolutely bomb proof carabiner. I have three of them (one auto lock and two screw gate). They are easy to use and big enough for belaying, even if you're in the gym and have a belay anchor attached. They're the biggest 'biners Black Diamond makes but are still light. Don't have to worry about any extra weight! |
| Nothing bad about these biners. |
|
Cred: 2643 | | Awesome gym belay biner. Smooth action, durable and sexy. |
| Kind of expensive. I've seen the gate come open when rubbing on rock on awkward rappel starts while canyoneering, so watch out. |
|
 Cred: 238 | | standard belay biner; auto-locking |
| might just be this one biner, but the locking mechanism catches on the gate just before opening. I may return it. Anyone else have that problem? |
|
Cred: 8 | | great caribiner! I use it to belay and repel all the time!! |
| the finish was worn away due to the rope but that happens. |
|
Cred: 418 | | love this for sport climbing, and trad, doesn't get hung up on chains or webbing very easy! |
|
Cred: 3 | | Nice, big, wide-radius 'biner that is perfect for belay setups or usage as a master point at anchors. Big enough for the Munter's hitch. Smooth twistlock, very confident feeling when it closes. Keylock prevents snags. |
| paint wears off quickly where the rope is sliding, but no big deal. Heavy, but it's supposed to be a big, strong 'biner. |
|
 Cred: 147 | | FREAKiN sweet!
Favorite for belaying |
|
Cred: 38 | | Best one out there! Smooth action. |
