Cred: 28184 | | A great first leashless tool. The grip material is very sticky and allows easy hand transfers between tools. The mini-hammer is just big enough for pounding the occasional pin when thoese ice screws won't be doing anything for you. |
| The upper part of the grip would be nice if it extended more which would facilite matching on the tool easier. |

| nice swing, nice ability to match, nice frame for alpine settings, nice weight. I really like this axe as a one stop all around mountaineering/ice climbing axe. Its nice. Great matching on not bulgy ice. |
| Not too much clearance which can make climbing bulgy ice that much more of a pain. The problem is that when you swing into the ice the shaft ends up right against the ice meaning you cant match up higher on it. |
