Solid locking mechanism. Feels sturdy, screw system is long enough so when it's locked, it's solidly locked and when it's open, a quarter turn doesn't lock it by accident on your rack.

Could be a little lighter, but it's not by any means heavy.

Amazing quality that you can feel. Having no wiggle room when it's locked you know that you'll be able to belay safely without any sort of malfuction.

The safety check should be colored red so that way youll be able to see if you screwed the lock closed
