Great for racking nuts or pitons, simple, has greater strength than classic oval.
Also, since it's not D-shaped doesn't spin.

Sure this is heavier than the Doval but it has a smoother gate and can carry a full set of nuts. Wiregate ovals are particularly useful when trad climbing.

got this with the stopper set ... the notch hooks on every wire loop, going to replace with a notchless biner at some point.

i don't like racking my stoppers on wires, i somehow end up loosing them, don't know why, probabbly just me.
