| Black Diamond Cosmo 4.2 out of 5 based on 17 user reviews.
Cred: 18 | | This is a great lamp. 4 LED's are bright and give off a great color. It's light-weight, easy to replace batteries, and feels good on your head. 3 light levels are nice too. |
| Could use a more focused option (light on the BD Spot). |
| Black Diamond Spot is better, but more expensive. I would recommend the Cosmo to anybody. Right now (Oct 25) they're on www.bdel.com for $19.99. |

Cred: 1250 | | it is super bright (55 lumens) and great for the price. |
| it has two bulb settings that are activated by pushing the button in certain ways. if you push once, you get the main bulb. if you turn it off and on again you get the dimmer setting. in other words: half of the time you turn on the lamp it is at its full brightness. |
| Black Diamond makes all kinds of headlamps. the storm is only a bit more expensive and is 100 lumens and waterproof. |

Cred: 323 | | Simple settings and easy to turn on and off even if your fingers are cold lifeless frozen nubs. Strap is easily adjusted and can fit on just about anything. (I use this for leading short cave trips so I can just use my kayak helmet and strap this thing to it. |
| Replacing batteries with cold lifeless frozen nubs for fingers is impossible. Actually it is pretty hard even sitting at home. |

| Switching the batteries is a tad awkward especially if you don't have another light to see what you're doing. |

Cred: 33 | | Black Diamond is an awesome brand. And always has good quality gear. Light weight and great for the price. |
| I was kind of disappointed when I bought it and realized that the brightest setting didn't use all 4 lights. It's good for a last minute buy, but do your research if you're a serious hiker, caver, etc. Other than that I'm happy with the purchase. |

| Adjustable light mount broke and now just flops around. Not very sturday construction. |

Cred: 264 | | Review by myname on Apr. 21, 2012 | | Good headlamp. Very bright. I think it looks pretty cool. |
| There are two brightness settings (bright and dimmer): could be viewed as good or bad; I like it but I've heard some people don't. |
|
Cred: 25 | | This thing is wicked
Main light dims
secondary light dims
and has a strobe...for those disco nights on Pitch 4 |
