I have the BD Contour Elliptic compact (non-carbon fiber, non-shoickabsorning). I like them so far, but haven't used them much.

These poles are solid and easy to use. I mostly use them for snowshoeing and hiking. i like the adjustable clips and carbide tip. They are a little pricey but worth every penny.
