Really a great product. I've used this both backpacking and mountaineering and mountaineering and it has preformed admirably on all occasions. By using the quick adjust strap system its easy to strap them from anything from my mountaineering boots to my running shoes. It really has bomber construction and the steel really adds to its durability. Overall a very good product at quite a reasonable price especially when you can get them on sale.
Sometimes becomes a little loose, you really have to make sure they are tight on you boot. They are a little heavy.

Low weight... aggresive points... stable... easily adjust and simply a great value
Very long straps... tough when not using double boots but you still want to retain the lenght for your doubles. Minor issue though.

Affordable and aggressive. easy strapping system.
straps can get frozen, not as easily put on and take off with gloves on as opposed to step-in crampons. Very aggressive teeth. Watch out for your pants and gaiters!

Points stay sharp long after you'd expect them to be dull.
Straps are difficult to use and require constant maintenance.

Great simple strong crampons for everything but hard ice. But my wife kicked up WI3 last weekend in them!?

I purchased this item for my Ecuador trip for technical and non technical climbs. They were perfect as they are compact, lightweight and easy to travel with. Although they've had a lot of use, the points are still sharp.
points are very sharp, watch out for your pants and gaiters!!
