Cred: 2509 | | durable, wide expansion range, smooth trigger. These cams are great. They place easily and are full strength even if they walk back and umbrella. (taken a fall that way, and can tell you, they hold!) |

| Cheepy plastic trigger. Ended up breaking one after a fall that resulted in the cam being weighted at a angle. IT mad the removal kinda hard |

| A MUST HAVE. These cams are durable, easy to place, have a wide range, and are what all other cams are compared to. |
| Expensive. Heavier than single axle cams. Not as flexible as others. |
| For really small sizes, I go with Metolius Master Cams because they are lighter and more flexible. |

| Old Blue my go to Piece of trad gear. Fits in almost all the large hand+ sized climbs.
Duel axis allows for passive placements. |
| Can walk a little if placed horizontally with no back stop. |

| For the smaller sizes (below .75) I would recommend either metolius, aliens or black diamond's c3s. |

Cred: 55 | | I really like these in .5-6. I like the Metolius TCU for the smaller end micro cams. Camalots feel more stable when placed when compared to the larger sized WC Friends. These have a smooth trigger action and are really easy to place. Rack these with Neutrinos and you will be really happy. |

| With really smooth action and rock-solid construction, these are the gold-standard in cams for a reason. Everybody owns some, and aside from the weight, everybody loves them. |
| There are better cams out there for sizes at or below 0.5.
These are a bit heavier than other cams, but you get a bigger expansion range in return. |
| Can't recommend anything else for pieces larger than a half-inch or so. These are just too good. |
