I got this bag to compliment my lady's 15 degree Big Agnes bag for those rare car camping trips where my ultralight bag wouldn't be as comfortable. Our bags have opposite zippers so they will zip together to form one large mummy bag. Despite the fact that my bag is significantly longer than hers they zip together with the heads being aligned (handy). There is no down on the underside of the sleeping bag making a sleeping pad absolutely necessary; however there is a sleeve on the bottom of the bag to hold the pad in place. It is an absolutely ingenious idea which all sleeping bags should have. You will never roll off your sleeping pad again.
It is roomy for those who like that, the sleeve underneath for the pad works perfectly, you can zip two of the similar type bags together if you or your lady want to do that. works well in warm and cold weather although I was a little toasty in the warm weather
if you like the bag to move around with you then the pad sleeve is not the feature for you. that's the only bad thing
