Cred: 470 | | This pad does exactly as it say's it does. It keeps you warm and cozy down to 15f. It is rugged enough for uneven, rocky, and root prone terrain. I have been using mine for a year and have not had any problems out of the hardware or the fabric. This is not one of those pads that you wake up on the ground on. I have never once lost air out of it and intentionally have to not blow it up all the way so it isn't rock solid all night. You should be able to catch them on sale fairly regular |
| As long as you don't plan on seeing temperatures below 15f there is no need for anything else. |

Cred: 28184 | | As for comfort I don't believe I could find myself a better more suited pad. The time it takes to inflate this beast it is well worth it. The pad comes in weight pretty light considering the amount of comfort. |
| If you are planning on using this pad in the cold weather I would not recommend it. Since the pad is air cored there is no means of insulation between you and the ground. |
| If you are looking for a pad that will give you the same comfort in a 4 season situation check out the Exped Downmats. |

Cred: 858 | | Comfy! No sore hips or shoulders for this side sleeper. |
| Noisy to adjust on, like a pool raft. Also tends to scoot out from under me as I roll over in my sleep. |
| Probably a good idea to use the BA sleeping bag that goes with the pad. |
|
Cred: 195 | | Works wonders as a flotation device. Also, useful in the event of having to sleep outdoors.
I sleep in multiple positions through the night and everyone of them is superbly comfortable thanks to this pad. See you later 0.5" self-inflating mattresses. |

Cred: 195 | | Review by rrtex1 on Mar. 01, 2011 | | Very nice pad, no bottom out with the 2.5" thickness although it does seam narrow but I think it is do to the thickness difference from other pads I have used. Easy to inflate/deflate and packs small and light. |

Cred: 225 | | Review by spurg1 on Mar. 20, 2011 | | Love this pad. Gave me my first really comfortable nights sleep on the ground. I originally bought it for insulating the bottom of my hammock (not perfect for this). Hard to find a thicker pad with less bulk than this. As for cold weather its fine, on the ground (not in the hammock). |
| A little noisy when moving around on it and night. Getting the air out is a little frustrating but manageable. |

Cred: 420 | | This works pretty well, especially since I sleep on my side alot it makes it a lot more comfortable. |
| Could get a leak and if you're too lazy to blow it up then go for Thermarest. |
|
Cred: 1073 | | Comfy and rolls up very tightly. |
| Noisy, if you're lazy and don't like blowing things up then this isn't for you either. Could get a leak to render it useless. |

Cred: 32 | | This sleeping pad is lightweight and yet durable enough to withstand sleeping on rocks. I thought I would wake up on the ground before the night was over. Four day hiking through the Minami Alps in Japan; cold, wet and windy. Great camping weather, without this pad I would have been much colder. I am in love with Big Agnes!! |
|
Cred: 23 | | Less expensive, lighter, and packs smaller than other leading brands; amazing insulation on cold nights, but also somehow keeps you comfortable during the warmer ones, too; very durable; I love this pad. |
| You do have to blow it up, but it really only takes a few minutes. Sit back enjoy the view of your campsite, and before long, it's fully blown up. |
|
Cred: 29 | | light, packs small, durable, nice color, comes with sack and repair kit |
| like all pads it deflates slowly through the night but the worst thing about this pad is that it takes too long too much energy to blow up and too long to deflate and roll up |
| this is not a bad buy, just be patient with the set up. but the expeds aren't bad! |
|
Cred: 825 | | very thick and very compact and versitle |
| works great with Big agnes bags, but with other bags you slide around |
| add some fots of seam grip on the baffles and it shouild help |

Cred: 360 | | Review by iwish on Oct. 11, 2011 | | packs small, doesn't take long to inflate, comfortable for side sleeper |
| Can be slippery, depending on the bag. |
|
Cred: 68 | | Very comfortable for how light and easy to pack it is. |
| Would get 5 stars if it self inflated. And wasn't to noisey |
|
Cred: 10 | | you don't know you are sleeping on the ground, awesome pad, worth the air it takes to inflate, love it!!! |
| takes lungs to inflate, and must be folded just right to go in its stuff sack |
|
Cred: 9 | | Soooo comfy, like sleeping in my bed |
| Heavy. My air nozzle leaked, but sent it back and they sent me a new one!! |
|
Cred: 951 | | Really Comfy, super thick and rather warm with the Primaloft |
|
Cred: 11 | | Bottom insulation layer on BA bags for mild winter use (15F or so) |
|
Cred: 3 | | Easy to Inflate, Packs Small, Comfortable |
