Cred: 28184 | | Been wanting to take your first steps into that beloved off-piste land? Well this is a way you can do it without having to break the bank. At first glance it looks a little odd at what is exactly going on. But take a close look and it all begins to make sense. All you need to do for set up is adjust it to the length of your ski boot once and forget it. Once you get to the top of the lift and want to head out to the back country pop these into your regular alpine bindings and you’re off. The trekker has two stages of heel lifters which are nice and easily switched as the terrain changes. Once you reach your destination pop them out click into your bindings and you’re ready for the descent. They are also useful because the argument can still be made that touring bindings are not as good as a high-end alpine binding. They have made a lot of head way though and the companies out there must be given props. |
| Does not tour like a touring binding but that should be expected. |
| No real alternatives for this cost unless you get really good at snowshoeing with skis on your back. |

| Doesn't function as clean as a real touring setup. |
