After 4 years I just replaced these boots with the same thing. I put hundreds of trail miles on them as well as used them for my winter city boots! Comfortable until the end, durable like I never would have guessed (original laces to the end) and they look good too...

Whether getting through tourist during a blizzard in Times Square, Avoiding Bears in Yosemite or just section hiking the AT this boot will get it done!!!

Fit is a little wider then the Vasque Breeze.
Takes 20-30 miles to break in
Waterproof but you may want to treat the leather sections each year to help breath-ability.
NONE
Vasque Breeze is similar but runs a little more narrow.

Little break-in, flexible sole, good support, solid toebox
Fabric/leather combined upper does not provide as much protection for the gore-tex membrane; after some wear they will let water through if there is snow on top or if walking in the stream
Asolo all-leather boots (though less breathable and require more break-in) will stay waterproof longer.

Fantastic construction, not to heavy. Toe cap allows for year round wear
Tread wears down faster than other boots I have owned. Break in time is a little long.
For the money, these boots are great! They will last and have great lasting ability

I love these boots. So comfortable. High tops for great support, Gore-ex. Overall just amazing boots. The laces are even super beefy!
I cant think of any..

My feet sweat a lot. These boots are breatheable and surprisingly water resistant. They are stiff but not overly so.
Insoles are a must for my feet. water resistant but not water proof by any means.

comfortable, long lasting support over different terrain,
half size to big will eat a hole into your heels

Relatively cheap, worth the price for a hiking boot.
Tread wears and loses traction, lots of seams. Wear over time causes these to come open one seam or another.
