Arc'teryx Alpha SV Jacket - Women's | Arc'teryx Alpha SV Jacket - Women's 5 out of 5 based on 1 user reviews.
Cred: 203 | | This jacket is designed as a severe weather jacket, and it definitely holds up to its name. I use it for mountaineering and offshore sailboat racing (the wettest you'll ever get, trust me!) The hood is very large and fits a helmet underneath nicely, but for sailing adventures (no helmet) there is enough adjustability to cinch everything down and keep water out. I'm 5'7" and 118lbs, I bought a small and it was perfect - still athletically cut but roomy enough to layer, plus, the sleeves are long enough for my long skinny arms. The bright colors are amazing! Best purchase I've made in a long time. |
| The front pockets are a little odd, if you like putting your hands in pockets you might not like this. When I do feel the need, I cross my arms over my chest and put the right hand in the left pocket and vice versa - works rather well. Personally, the insightful pocket placement for harnesses etc wins out over this weird quirk. |
