This saves skiers from bending when getting in and out of the binding, very convenient and comfortable when wearing a backpack. The wide steering plate (56 mm) gives maximum stability and ski control, features that are very important when skiing in rugged country and under variable snow conditions. The BC Auto consists of two integrated parts in order for it to flex with the ski. By flexing with the natural curve of the ski, the binding encourages a more powerful kick and a longer glide.
